Locating African-Centered Agents

The last locative field is that of the African-centered agents.  It was divided into two major sub-locators:

(1)     those for a federated African unity and

(2)     (2) those for a union government for the African nation.

While this distinction on the surface appears tactical in practice it proved to be two fundamentally different positions.  Events such as the Congo debacle illuminated the distinctiveness of these positions.  Nkrumah's text, Challenge of the Congo (1967a),clearly illustrated this point in his correspondence with the members of the Casablanca Group.
